About

Our Pastor

Pastor Richard & Joanne Mason

Having lost his biological father at the age of 1 ½, by the age of five, Richard was separated from his biological mom & ten siblings. Placed in foster care where he experienced abuse, by the age of ten, he ran-away and found himself living on the streets of Baltimore. Shortly thereafter, he was placed by Social Services into the home of a Bishop/Pastor &  his wife. Richard began his musical studies at the age of twelve—attending various music schools throughout Maryland. He was later accepted into the United States Navy Music Program where he attended and graduated from the U. S. Armed Forces School of Music in Little Creek, Virginia. Richard served 8-years as a musician in the U. S. Navy Music Program. He gave his heart to the Lord one night while driving home after having performed a concert in Virginia. Over time, Richard realized that his life, and whatever talent/gifts we have, exist for the Lord’s purpose. Richard is passionate about worship, and about helping people grow in their walk with the Lord. As an ordained Minister, he served 9-years as a full-time Worship Arts Pastor with the Assemblies of God, and has served as a part-time Minister of Music for several churches ranging from San Diego, California to Baltimore, Maryland. Richard holds an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor’s of Science Degree with highest distinction from Nyack College, a Master’s of Science degree—honors with distinction from Nyack College, a diploma from Rhema Bible School, and various certificates of completion.
